1. Core Product Description

Expandable prefab steel frame workshop is a modular pre-engineered industrial building customized with reserved expansion zones, specially designed for manufacturers with long-term production capacity expansion demands. Different from fixed-size traditional factories, its overall steel frame layout reserves standardized blank construction areas on one side or both sides of the main workshop in advance. These reserved zones share the same foundation, ground beam, column base and roof drainage system with the main plant, requiring no secondary foundation pouring or complicated structural reconstruction when enterprises expand their production lines later.

The whole building adopts bolt-connected prefabricated steel components, realizing fast disassembly, extension and recombination. When factory owners need to add new processing equipment, automated assembly lines, storage areas or testing workshops, they only need to produce matching H-beams, wall and roof panels according to the reserved interface size, then assemble them on site within several days without suspending normal production of the original workshop. The reserved expansion space supports single-side horizontal expansion, double-sided symmetrical expansion and rear lengthening expansion three modes, with expandable span ranging from 6m to 42m and unlimited extensible length in theory.

The main load-bearing frame uses Q355B high-strength steel, featuring high ductility, strong bearing capacity and excellent seismic performance. The interior of the main workshop and reserved area is column-free wide space, with customizable clear height from 4m to 18m, compatible with large machining machines, overhead cranes, automated conveying equipment and multi-layer production platforms. Wall and roof adopt rock wool/PU sandwich color steel panels, which integrate fire resistance, heat insulation, sound insulation and anti-corrosion functions, greatly cutting long-term factory energy consumption. All expansion connecting joints are pre-installed waterproof sealing strips and wind-resistant connecting pieces to ensure no water leakage, air leakage or structural hidden dangers after extension.

2. Matching Professional Ventilation System

This expandable steel workshop is equipped with a complete set of multi-level ventilation systems, and all ventilation positions are also reserved in the pre-designed expansion area to match future new production lines:

  1. Natural ventilation system: High-location air vents are set on the roof slope, matched with side wall louver air windows. The reserved expansion area reserves the same window installation holes in advance. When new equipment generates more heat and dust, customers only need to install additional louvers without modifying the steel frame. High air circulation can quickly discharge hot air, dust and light industrial waste gas to keep the workshop air fresh.
  2. Forced mechanical ventilation: Reserved mounting brackets and power line passages for industrial exhaust fans, axial flow fans and purification air blowers on steel purlins and wall columns. If later introduced automated production lines produce a large amount of welding fume, chemical odor or high-temperature gas, enterprises can directly install large exhaust equipment at reserved positions without punching or cutting steel structures.
  3. Auxiliary ventilation & purification: Optional negative pressure dust removal system, fresh air exchange unit and roof ventilation skylights. All ventilation pipelines have pre-reserved fixing points in both main workshop and expansion zone, realizing unified ventilation layout after production line upgrade, avoiding messy later pipeline reconstruction.
